The best keeps getting better This is truly one of our favorite places in the world— and it gets better with age. From the amazing views, the white sand beach that you sometimes have all to yourself, the tastefully decorated rooms with super comfy beds, the mind blowing food, and the staff that makes you feel like family— we will keep returning year after year. I hope everyone can experience Casa Mia de Mita at least once in your life. I promise you’ll want to come back.

A great luxurious beach getaway This was our first time to Punta Mita. We did our research and chose Casita Mia de Mita over the Four Seasons and St. Regis. The reviews were spot on. This boutique hotel offers luxurious rooms and fine dining with the best ocean views. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. We started each day with a long walk along the beach, followed by a tasty brunch. We ended each day enjoying the chef's dessert. Why not 5 stars? For 5-star hotels, we're used to having the concierge reach out to us 3-4 weeks in advance to set up any reservations - meals, activities, etc. - for our stay. This hotel didn't do that, so I reached out 3 weeks ahead of time. After several rounds of emails over the few weeks, I still wasn't sure what, if anything, had been scheduled properly. Not until we arrived onsite did we learn that our requests had been addressed. Tip: The best way to get around is by taxi. The hotel can help schedule from/to the airport, plus local trips to town. Once in town, there's a taxi stand to get you back to the hotel.

Still Fantastic We've been a number of times to this gem that I've reviewed before, and I am pleased to write that it is one of the few places in the world that we visit that really keeps quality standards at the highest level. For those of you looking for busy, activity-filled breaks, this is probably not the place for you. But for those of you looking for a quiet and relaxing location to read books, listen to the surf, enjoy the ocean, eat and drink to your heart's content, and disconnect, then I am not sure there is a better place in North America to visit. As others have written, the excellent staff largely remain the same over the past two decades, and they all do great work. From the Argentinian chef Gonzalo to the evening staff of brothers Lalo & Memo plus Manuel, to the morning staff of Carlos, Musio and Fernando, and the cleaning staff, I can only offer praise. And enjoying Madison and Lucas the dogs only makes it feel more like a home (as does the Tequila bar after a nice dinner). It is entertaining to watch the folks who come in and are dead-set on leaving the location to visit nearby cities or golf courses or even other hotels, only to return and wish they had just stayed and relaxed. We've gone fishing, whale watching, snorkeling, and all other things, but find that the best place, particularly during the hotter months of the rainy season, is at the hotel. This remains one of the best places in all of Mexico, and should be at the top of anyone's list seeking a beach vacation.

The best place to remove yourself from this Crazy World! Thank you Team at Casita Mia de Mita! We had a wonderful stay, loved the place so much we are looking at the calendar for our next visit. Perfect stay Casita Mia de Mita was absolute perfection. Every single thing was perfect - would not change a thing. Service, food, drinks, beach, weather…everything was incredible. The drive from Puerto Vallarta is not the prettiest and I kind of wondered where in the world we were going but then…you arrive at the hotel and it is amazing. Can’t recommend enough!

Another great stay This was our 7-8 time at this fantastic property. I want to call out Mauricio, Memo, Lalo, Carlos, Manual, etc. for such great service. The Chef from Argentina is world class. We played golf at Higuera Golf Course which is 5 minutes away. I left a review for that course. Having the ability to play golf and stay at such an extraordinary property is important to us. Please remember to tip when you check out as they don't recommend individual tipping as the cleaning ladies, chefs tend to get left out. Enjoy!!

Muy Bonita ! A wonderful, relaxing one week stay in this truly beautiful boutique hotel. The perfect place to recharge the batteries! Casita Mia de Mita is a truly lovely property meticulously run and maintained by the charming Maurizio and his excellent team. The property itself is breathtakingly gorgeous and on a very pretty long stretch of white sandy beach. With only eight rooms (we had the fabulous penthouse room), the hotel is and certainly feels select and secluded. The staff are friendly, professional and so accommodating. Special shout out to the wonderful brothers, Lalo and Memo as well as to both Carlos’s, Manuel and Fernando. And not forgetting, los perros, Lucas y Madison! We loved you guys ❤️ Every single meal we had was delicious and the cocktails were excellent. We were very sorry to leave and head home to dark and gloomy London in January but console ourselves with the thought that we will be back for sure!

It doesn’t get much better than this……. Greetings!! Let me first say, I have traveled throughout Mexico and have stayed at many up-scale,casual,luxury,family and adult only resorts. And I have one thing to say about Casita Mia de Mita……WOW!!! It is such a unique find. A small,intimate ,full service,all-inclusive resort. I was a little concerned that with only 8 rooms it might be “too small”. This was absolutely not the case. It had all the services of a larger resort with top notch service often not found in larger resorts. Check in-quick and efficient .No time share sales,no pressure to join any club! We were sitting by the pool with a cocktail in our hand minutes after check in. Mauricio later gave us a tour of the property. It is beautifully maintained with lush greens,flowers,and authentic art work. Room- we were 3 woman enjoying a girls get away.Our room was up one flight of stairs,had 3 queen beds,was spotless and decorated lovely. Our room was cleaned daily, had nightly turn down service,and was well stocked with snacks and drinks, Pool area- gorgeous salt water pool over looking the ocean.NO towel games or worrying about getting a chair! Comfortable pool side or beach loungers for every guest. Food and drink service available at pool or beach. Fernando ( during the day) and Manuel(night) pour amazing ,top shelf cocktails! Food- delicious!! Breakfast, no menu,anything you request they have. Loved the eggs Benedict ,huevos rancheros,and omelets. We also had cappuccinos and fresh sweet bread delivered to our room every morning! Lunch generally included some type of salad with protein ,chips and guacamole ,and a special Mexican dish. Dinner is quite an affair! Appetizer,soup,salad and choice of one of the following for the main course -beef ,fresh fish ,chicken ,vegetarian ,or pasta. All the dishes were presented beautifully and could compete with the best restaurants here in the US! If you are a foodie you have found your resort!! Entertainment - this is a quiet resort,no evening shows or large drunk obnoxious crowds. You may be thinking,boring? No,not at all! The view at dinner,the ocean,the lighting, the music selection,the fire pits-all made for lovely entertainment . We sat outside ,drank delicious wine,enjoyed dinner and ended up visiting with other guests. I didn’t miss the large lobby bar/ shows ,at all. Staff- absolutely the best staff I have encountered at any hotel! Professional,attentive,efficient ,all the while making you feel like you are their best friend! A special shout out to Fernando and Carlos for keeping the drinks and food flowing while we lounged by the pool.And to Manuel,Memo and Lalo for making our evenings so enjoyable with your great service,kind hearts and making us crack up with your sense of humors! If you can tear yourself from the resort,there is plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed spending a couple of hours in Sayulita,had a drink at a cool restaurant in Punta Mita and checked out the Four Seasons Punta Mita(underwhelmed ). We spoke to other guests who enjoyed a boat ride around the islands, bird watching,horse back riding,and snorkeling. We cannot wait to return. The distance and cost are worth every mile and penny! Paradise Found What do you say about this place that hasn't already been said? It's an absolute dream come true. The accommodations were spot on. We had #8 the owners penthouse a large suite with high palapa ceilings and excellent air conditioning. We had two sets of stairs to get up to our unit which is good because you need all that walking to work off the amazing food. Our king 4 poster bed was extremely comfortable and it was delight to sleep hearing the ocean due to the double palapa ceiling. We were right on the beach and had a beautiful view from our veranda. It was wonderful to sit there, have coffee and relax. The staff is delightful and will make sure to take very good care of you. "Whatever you want" is their motto. We walked and played on the beach every day. What a treat to play in such a beautiful place. And the Pool is lovely as well. It's a tiled salt-water pool and feels amazing. We would enjoy a cocktail at the swim up bar every day. And the Food!!!! OMG! The Chef is from Argentina and really knows how to grill meat but is a master with fish as well. Our breakfasts were huge as were the lunches and the 4 course dinners were divine. The staff help arrange, massages, snorkeling trip as well as a little jaunt to Sayalito for some shopping. Others from nearby resorts would come over at night for dinner because the food is that GOOD. It was also my birthday and they surprised me with a delicious birthday cake. We've already booked another trip in January coz we can't wait to get back to Paradise.
